Our athletes have been competing all round the world during the past week and had several Personal Bests. On Sunday 5 February 2017 in Dublin, Heather Paton not only had a personal best in 60 metres Hurdles but set a Scottish Record by clocking 8.34. On the same day in Carshalton, Elizabeth Edden cleared 3.72 to set a personal best in Senior Women Pole Vault. In Mondeville, France on Saturday 4 February Kyle de Escofet set a personal best of 6.59 in 60 metres. Also on the same day in Staten Island, New York, Adam Walker-Khan set a personal best of 7.12 in 60 metres and a seasons best of 14.98 in Triple Jump. In the SOAR Open in Lee Valley Tamara Armoush set a personal best of 9:34.10 in 3000 metres Women on Wednesday 1 February 2017.

Both Dannish Walker-Khan and Shad-Marc Aaron had seasons bests of 7.01 and 7.08 respectively in 60 metres Senior Men. In the Senior Women race Michele Thomas (V45) ran 8.23 to set a season best also.

Both of our athletes had season bests in their respective races. In Senior Men 800 metres Robert Umeokafor (U23) stopped the clock at 1:52.87 while in the equivalent event for women Georgie Hartigan (U23) ran 2:07.44 which is less than a second slower than her personal best.
