Olympic Representation

Birchfield Harriers at the Olympics
At Birchfield Harriers we are very proud of our Olympic heritage. Many of our athletes have ‘Olympic dreams’ and are helped to achieve these. Over the years, Birchfield has had 133 athletes selected for 175 events at the Olympic Games. (97 individual athletes, some being re-selected in subsequent years.) Our athletes have won 35 Olympic medals. This is one of the reasons we can claim to be the UK’s (and the World’s) Premier Athletics Club.
